Twist 'N Write

Twist 'N Write is a mechanical pencil with a unique approach toward establishing the correct grip. The barrel of the pencil is thick, like a primary pencil, and three-sided to encourage a three-finger grip. The unique element of the design is the wishbone shape -- the index finger goes through the wishbone with the pad of the index finger resting on the top side of the pencil. We include illustrated instructions to help you encourage the use of the correct grip while using the Twist 'N Write. We've always used Pencil Grips, but this approach appeals to some children and certainly is worth a try with older children who are having a hard time making the change. It most definately will be perceived as a fun pencil! To advance the lead, twist the tip of the pencil. The 2 mm #2 lead is 2-1/2 inches long and not replaceable. The pencil has erasers on the outside edge of the wishbone. FOR RIGHT OR LEFT HAND. Colors: blue, yellow-green, purple, pink
